After giving away Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free last year as part of its Play At Home plan to combat the coronavirus pandemic, Sony has confirmed that the initiative will return in the coming months. The most important thing so far is that you will be able to redeem a copy of Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 4 completely free of charge from March 1, 2021 on PlayStation Store. This offer will last until the end of the month, at which point a new offer will have already taken its place.
Starting March 25, 2021, another agreement will grant extended access to Funimation for new subscribers. “What we describe today is just the beginning of what is in store for Play At Home. In the coming weeks, we will share more details on free games and entertainment offers for our PlayStation community,” says PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan.
In these historic times, the PlayStation team wanted to thank the community by giving something back. These days we could all use something to look forward to and another reason to safely stay away socially, which is why we’re happy to be able to offer a free selection of great games and some entertainment deals.
