Apple is completely ready to keep you up to date; All you have to do is ask. As reported for the first time in 9to5Mac, the "Give me the news" feature is now fully functional for Siri in the US. UU And it is being launched in the United Kingdom and Australia.

The feature seems to be separate from the Apple Music Radio service, and is likely to be part of the technological giant's preparations for the upcoming HomePod smart speaker.

The delayed HomePod will have to compete with smart speakers from Amazon and Google and both companies offer similar news podcasts with a voice command.

Apple did not immediately respond to CNET's request for comment.
