UPDATE: 7:24 pm, Saturday June 27, 2020 – Red Bluff police officers report that the Wal-Mart Distribution Center shooter was shot by police at the scene and taken to a local hospital.
Police say at approximately 3:30 pm, Red Bluff officers were asked to assist the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office with the call of an active shooter at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center on Highway 99. .
Authorities say two Red Bluff police officers and a Red Bluff police sergeant responded immediately and were the first police personnel on the scene.
Police report that upon arrival, an adult man shot one or more of the officers multiple times. A Red Bluff police officer and a sergeant used their service rifles and shot the suspect, finally stopping the threat.
Authorities say that none of the officers at the scene suffered physical damage during this incident and the suspect’s condition is unknown at the time of this release.
UPDATE: 6:50 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2020 – Officials at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff have confirmed that there are currently four patients in good condition and two people deceased.

BLUFF ROJO, California – An Action News Now reporter is at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Red Bluff, where she reports a strong police presence. Employees at the scene tell us there was some kind of shooting, we are still working with investigators to confirm it.
Authorities say this happened on Saturday, June 27 at approximately 3:30 p.m. when the dispatch received multiple calls from an active shooter and gunshots.
Authorities say they are still going through the building to make sure it is clear.
Authorities report that several people are injured, but cannot confirm how many, possibly three people were injured.
Authorities say at least one person was hit by a car.
An Action News Now reporter spoke to a witness who said he saw a car crash into the building and injure a couple of people and that
The car caught fire.
Authorities report that around 200 employees were working there at the time and the employees locked themselves in a room.
