“Talk” host Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19, and was briefly hospitalized.
In a tweet posted on Monday night, Osbourne shared her diagnosis and said her husband Ozzy Osbourne had tested negative.
“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Kovid 19,” Osbourne wrote. “After a brief hospitalization, I am now admitted to a place far from Ozzie (who has tested negative), while ‘The Talk’ is at scheduled intervals. All please be safe and sound.”

“The Talk” responded to Osbourne’s tweet with a message of support, writing, “Wish you a speedy recovery, Mrs O, we love you.”
On December 10, Osbourne’s “The Talk” co-host Carrie Ann Inaba also shared that she had contracted COVID-19. In a post on her Instagram account, Inaba wrote: “I am at home with some symptoms and as per CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself … I follow all the guidelines and safety I am in a very safe environment. Protocol and it still has found its way to me. Therefore, it is a favorable reminder to be extra cautious this holiday season. Keep your distance socially and physically, and your Wash hands. Take care of everyone. And I will keep you updated on my journey. “
“The Talk” hosts include Osbourne, Imba, Eve and Sheryl Underwood. The show recently wrapped up production for the year. After Eve’s announcement of her departure and Mary Osmond’s first exit of the year, Amanda Clotts and Elaine Welteroth are set to appear next season.
