Shakeel O’Neill: LeBron James can pass Michael Jordan and be the greatest NBA player if he does these things

The debate will last forever: LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan. NBA fans, players, and analysts have debated this for years, comparing figures, rings, effects, game modes and more.

Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Shakeel O’Neill sat down with “All Things Covered” to give his thoughts on the goat’s conversation and said he felt the difference between the two players currently standing.

While some people pay no attention to this, O’Neill says he believes that James cares about the opinions of others.

“I know that LeBron and I know what he thinks people think,” said the former Laker.

Sheikh admitted that “we look at the figures” and bridged the gap in terms of the number of players.

“He’s already passed Kobe and Jordan in points … He’s gonna creep on Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar) as well. I think he wants to pass Kareem,” Shaq said.

Looking at the championship, James has four – he gained his fourth ring last season with the Lakers – while Bryant finished with five and Jordan finished with six.

“I think LeBron is looking to tie Kobe and tie Jordan with the championship,” Shaq said. “If he was tied with Mike, I think people would probably lean a little more towards LeBron and be the best player in the world.”

While Sheikh seems to be leaning towards James on MJ right now, he does not foresee saying that it is possible that James outbid Abdul-Jabar and Jordan out in the rings, “the conversation might change Will go. “

James, 36, has been in the league since 2003 and shows no signs of leaving the league anytime soon.
