Several Universal Orlando Resort attractions are closing temporarily from August 9

With the reopening of the Orlando theme park, many attractions have closed during the COVID-19 epidemic to better enforce social disturbances. Starting August 9, even more attractions will be temporarily closed at Universal Orlando Resort.

The following attractions will be temporarily closed:

  • A day in the park with barney
  • Fear factor live
  • Fast and Furious: Supercharge
  • Kang and Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl
  • Poseidon’s Fury
  • Hurricane Force Accelatron

As a stage show with live actors, Fear Factor Live has been closed since the parks reopened. The rest of the attraction is working with social distancing guidelines and disinfecting processes.

Storm Force Exelatron and Poseidon’s Fury are two popular attractions that can run when it rains, so this may cause limited attraction availability for guests during storms. Fast and Furious: Supercharged, although it is one of the newest attractions in Universal Orlando, it has been heavily criticized and rarely awaited.

There is no time limit when these attractions will reopen. All team members will be transferred to other locations at these attractions.
