FRANKFORT, Ky. — Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul stated Monday he’s returning to Washington following an badault in his yard that left him with six damaged ribs.

Porter stated Paul was sporting ear safety, so he didn’t hear the badault coming.
Police charged Rene Boucher with misdemeanor badault. Boucher pleaded not responsible final week in Bowling Green. Boucher might face extra prices. The FBI has confirmed it’s investigating to see if any federal legal guidelines have been damaged.
Boucher and Paul have been neighbors for 17 years. Boucher’s legal professional stated the badault was not motivated by politics, however “by a dispute most people would find trivial.” He has not elaborated.
Some residents of the gated neighborhood the place Paul and Boucher stay have speculated the badault was prompted by a long-simmering garden care dispute between the 2 males. Paul’s senior adviser Doug Stafford has denied the 2 males had a dispute of any form, saying Paul had not had a dialog with Boucher in years.
“This was not a fight, it was a blind side, violent attack by a disturbed person,” Stafford stated in an announcement final week.
Boucher’s legal professional, Matt Baker, stated it seems Paul has employed a private harm lawyer, which might imply he’s planning a lawsuit. Paul’s workplace has declined to touch upon that.
