Serving as the culmination of each chapter in the Marvel film universe, Avengers: Infinity War will bring together heroes of each movie to face Thanos in a massive battle. As the trailers of the film show, we can expect to see new connections and alliances forged between surprising characters, while other characters spend more time with allies with those who have a deep relationship. According to Sebastian Stan, we can expect to see Winter Soldier spend much of his time with Anthony Mackie's Hawk.
"It's a lot of people, you stay in your lane and try not to run into anyone," shared Stan Entertainment Tonight of the massive amount of heroes presented in the film. "I'm sure there are many parallels between real life and the relationships in the film, people know each other for the first time and they scrutinize each other, I guess I do not really know what I'm talking about because I have not read a script I have not met half of the people in this cast yet, I've spent most of my time in front of the screen with my friend Anthony Mackie who could not be here because he had one of those Cuban cigars for all the effort He is doing with the wires. "
Bucky Barnes and Falcon have had an interesting relationship, colliding first as enemies in Captain America: The Winter Soldier before becoming reluctant allies in Captain America: Civil War . Infinity War will surely escalate their relationship to new levels, and Mackie himself will mock his interest in seeing a derivative film with the two characters.
"Sebastian is a damn good actor and he's a damn good friend, so I think our relationship – actually, it's us three, him, [Captain America actor Chris Evans] and me – our relationship works very well because there is mutual respect", shared Mackie with Entertainment Tonight . "So a spin-off would be great, but it would be like Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy in 48 Hours would be our spin-off, we'd end up hitting each other three or four times, I know."
Stan confirmed that he would also be interested in seeing these two characters explored in much more comical ways.
Fans will see Bucky and Falcon together when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27.
Black Panther is now in theaters. Other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films include Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, the fourth Avengers movie on May 3, 2019, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 5, 2019 and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 in 2020.
