Samsung seems to be just over a week away from giving the world a first look at the actual design of its folding handset. The company released a teaser video this morning that shows the words "the future unfolds" that surrounds the outline of what appears to be a device in the form of a book. The details are promised next week, on February 20, during the Samsung Galaxy S10 event.
Folding phones have begun debuting in the last two months, and Samsung even gave the world a first look at its ability to make a folding screen in November. It was an impressive revelation, with Samsung holding a device that seemed to easily collapse from a tablet to a closed book. But Samsung hid the key details: the device was suspended in the dark, and apparently was hidden inside some kind of box, hiding how it really looked.
It is not clear if the phone will receive a full release next Wednesday, which will improve the Galaxy S10. But Samsung is making it quite evident that there is some kind of first look at the store.
The teaser also has a pretty good music, like something that would play when the first act of a science fiction movie is intensifying and their heroes are about to see something they should never see. You should turn on the sound, that's what I'm saying.
