The rumored leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will finally become official on August 5 during the company’s online Unpacked event. While we are waiting for this, here is a portion of the oven freshened out of the oven press. It is shown in its glory in two colors – Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black.
As previously rumored countless times, the internal screen now features a punch-hole selfie camera, and thus no big, awkward side-notch. The exterior screen has also been greatly improved, which is now extending to the edges and does not come with the original fold-down loosely spacious top and bottom bezels. It also gets a hole-punch selfie cam.
The design of the rear camera island borrows a lot from what we’ve seen in the leaked press render of the Galaxy Note 20, which should also be announced at the same event. The Mystic Bronze colorway has also been shared.
According to previously leaked specs, the external display would be 6.23 “, while the internal one increased to 7.7”, both Super AMOLED exactly. The internal screen will also have a 120Hz refresh rate. The triple camera setup on the rear should include a 12 MP + 64 MP + 12 MP sensor, while the internal selfie cam is of 10 MP. Storage capacity will be 512GB, and 5G support is built-in. The battery has a total capacity of 4,356 mAh, and will support 15W wireless charging.
Rumors of pricing have been everywhere, with some stating that the Z Fold 2 5G will be cheaper than its predecessor, and others will settle for $ 1,980, which is in line with the first generation product. We’ll make sure in just a few days, so stay tuned.
