The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has appeared in yet another unofficial hands-on video, showing us a complete unboxing of the new smartphone.
The publisher of this video is YouTuber The Mobile Central (via SamMobile), and the watch was clearly linked to a retailer somewhere in the United Arab Emirates. Based on this video and other leaks, the Apple Watch 6 has a sleek rival in its hands.
In plain design and skinny box, coming only with Samsung’s documentation and USB charging cradle, this version of the Galaxy Watch 3 is a 41mm Mystic Bronze-colored model with a leather strap. Samsung will also sell a larger 45mm version, which it seems will be necessary as Mobile Central complains that it had difficulty getting a smaller watch size to fit.
In addition to this bronze / leather combination, we have also seen a black / leather version for this size and for the 45mm Galaxy Watch 3. Other colors and strap materials may also offer good, but no leaks. Yet to confirm it.
After setting the clock, let us take a look at the new version of Tizen OS that Samsung has made for the watch. There is a nice looking clock face, an activity / fitness window, and other watch apps that you can either see or navigate by rotating through the bezel of the watch. The bezel was a key design feature of the original Galaxy Watch, and apparently seems to be better to use here than the original.
Based on the leaks we’ve seen, the Apple Watch 6 will likely feature the same square design as the Apple Watch 5 and Apple Watch 4, although the new smartwatch may have a more efficient microLED display. The Galaxy Watch 3 looks like an actual watch, which some people may like.
If you want something with more complications for additional information, there are also separate watch faces shown at the end of the video. Since the watch will have features such as sleep tracking, workout tracking and sleep monitoring, there will be possibilities for you to include all these things in the watch face to adapt to your needs.
Expect to see the Galaxy Watch 3 at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. It will not be alone, as it is the time when we are expecting to see the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy. The Tab S7 is also his first official appearance.
