Samsung brings a user interface to its smart watches

Samsung today introduces a major software update for the Galaxy Watch, Gear Sport and Gear S3 smartwatches. The update for smart watches brings Samsung's new UI interface, which was first launched on the company's Galaxy phones. One UI presents a much simpler and more modern interface that Samsung has not been able to use on their devices for a while, and in general it has been a positive improvement in terms of appearance.

In the watches, the updates are identical, but also introduces new features. "One UI in the smart watch offers a stylized interface that is synchronized with One UI in Galaxy smartphones, with more harmonious colors and designs on all devices," Samsung said in a press release, reported to Android Police.

A user interface for Samsung's smartwatches features improved settings that are easier to find, ability to enable / disable the touch alarm, improved control over Daily Briefing updates, and the ability to activate / deactivate Goodnight mode according to your own personal sleep habits. The new update also makes it easier to keep up with your daily activities and comes with better training follow-up, detailed sleep tracking and better heart rate tracking.

In addition, the One UI update has an improved battery life. " The update presents an improved optimization of the battery for better performance and longer use, automatically closing applications in the background and modifying configurations that can drain the battery life. "Users can also customize the preferred battery saving settings, including adjusting the brightness and screen time settings, to achieve the best possible battery life without compromising the user experience," Samsung said.

The new update is available through the Galaxy Wearable application on your phone.
