Salesforce has named Bret Taylor, the previous chief know-how officer at Facebook and founding father of Quip, as president and chief product officer.
Taylor first joined Salesforce in 2016, when Salesforce acquired phrase processing app Quip for $750 million. Now, Taylor is changing Alex Dayon as the corporate’s CPO and Dayon is shifting into the position of chief technique officer.
As chief product officer, Taylor might be tasked with main Salesforce’s product imaginative and prescient, design, improvement and launches.
“We are fortunate to have two such exceptional technology leaders in Alex and Bret to help lead Salesforce’s next wave of growth, innovation and customer success,” Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff mentioned in a press launch.
