The leader in the exchange of cryptographic currencies, Binance, announced on Thursday, January 31 that its users now have the opportunity to make deposits using Visa and MasterCard credit cards. This option was made due to the association with the Simplex processing service.
"We want to offer Binance merchants quick and easy access to cryptocurrencies, to make it as safe as possible. The partnership with Simplex has allowed us to globally close the gap between payments with credit cards and cryptocurrencies ", – said CEO Binance Changphen Zhao.
The exchange also says that it is capable of processing 1.4 million orders per second, not only being the largest trading platform in terms of trading volumes, but also the fastest in the market.
"Simple and fast card payments for regular users are a key factor for wider adoption of cryptocurrencies. We hope to partner with Binance and be able to jointly provide a better user experience. " – said Simplex co-founder and CEO Nimrod Lehavi.
Changphen Zhao added that the cryptocurrency industry is still at an early stage of development and that most of the money in the world is still the same Fiat. According to him, the creation of such payment gateways is necessary for the growth of the ecosystem and the spread of the cryptocurrency to a greater number of users.
Previously today in Binance, the trade started with the BitTorrent token (BTT). BTT Crowdsale was held on January 28 and raised $ 7.2 million in just 18 minutes.
