13% of customers in Amazon's online market would like to buy the company's cryptocurrency. This is evidenced in the survey data published by the portal Investing.com.
Among other Amazon offers that might interest them, respondents named branded computers: 73%, discount coupons: 52%, health insurance: 15%, public transport tickets: 13% and medical marijuana: 13.5%.
They also expressed the hope that in the future the company will provide these services.
The researchers point out that the interest in cryptocurrencies and medical marijuana may be due to a fairly young Amazon consumer base.
Recall that in early February, Bitcoin Exchange CEO Binance Changpeng Zhao expressed confidence that Amazon's online retailer would sooner or later release its own cryptocurrency.
The company itself has not yet reported on these plans, but since 2017 there have been four domains with mention of cryptocurrency: amazonbitcoin.com, amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com and amazoncryptocurrencies.com.
