Bloomberg Last week it was reported that Apple was planning a new lower-end Apple Watch to replace the Aging Series 3 in its lineup. The Apple Watch Series 3 is powered by Apple’s S3 processor and has a 38 mm / 42 mm design compared to the 40 mm / 44 mm design of the Series 4 and Series 5.
according to this John proserThe upgraded version of the Series 3 will be similar to the design of the Series 4, which Apple stopped selling after introducing the Series 5 last year. This means that we can expect to increase the size of the display to 40 mm and 44 mm, thanks to slimmer bezels and a more rounded design.
In an effort to keep costs down, however, the new lower-end Apple Watch ECG functionality as well will always be missed on the performance that we currently get exclusively on the Apple Watch Series 5.. The processor also says that the entry-level Apple Watch will have Apple’s M9 motion coprocessor.
ECG’s Series 4 / Series 5 design and shortcomings for the Apple Watch Series 3 replacement were revealed earlier (secretly) on Twitter by trusted source @ L0vetodream earlier this week. Whoever claims That Apple will continue selling Apple Watch Series 3.
Currently, Prosser states that this new Apple Watch is listed as the Apple Watch, while “Series 6” is listed as the Apple Watch Pro. Marketing names for new Apple products are nearly impossible to predict, and Prosser acknowledges that they are unsure if these are the last marketing names for this year’s lineup.
Apple today sells the Apple Watch Series 3 for $ 199 for GPS or cellular for $ 299. The low price point makes the Series 3 an attractive option for many shoppers, but it is unclear what pricing Apple has set for the upgraded Series 3 coming next week.
