Rory MacDonald vs. Jon Fitch fights for the title

Bellator returns to his unofficial home in San Jose, California, with two title fights and several former UFC fighters in an interesting main card that can be seen on DAZN.

The main event is welterweight champion Rory MacDonald against Jon Fitch, the first final round at the company's Grand Prix of welterweight. The winner will face Neiman Gracie later in the semifinals, while Michael "Venom" Page will face Douglas Lima next month in the other semifinal.

MacDonald, 29, is coming off a loss to TKO in the second round of middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi in September. This will be the first defense of the belt he won over Lima in a January 2018 decision. Fitch, 41, has won five straight games over a period of almost four years and had a successful debut against Paul Daley in his promotional debut at last may

The main event features featherweight featherweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane against Veta Arteaga in the main event, a showdown between former Bellator light heavyweight champions Phil Davis and Liam McGeary, former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson. against Adam Piccolotti, and relative unknowns Bolanos Expenses against Nathan Stolen in the main card opener.

First round: Bolanos is the local favorite that fights against Dublin. Frank Trigg is your referee. Both exchanging blows. Bolanos landing more solid shots. Stolen tried a knockdown but was stuffed. Robado knocked him down, but Bolanos swept to the top. He let Stolen go up. Bolanos dropped it immediately with a left hook and landed a few hits on the ground and it was over. First round: Davis with low kicks .. McGearly swinging. Both distrust early. Nice left by McGeary. Davis is not trying to knock him down. McGeary is very good with unique submissions, but Davis too. Third round: McGeary advances but does not catch him. Davis knocked him down. Davis got his back. Davis landing many punches from that position. McGeary tried a triangle but Davis came out of it. Davis with elbows and punches. Davis kicked him in the head when McGeary got up. McGeary with a kick in the head. Davis is really judged. Davis landed on the left and got a takedown. Davis is dropping his elbows and has his back. Davis is working for a stranglehold and McGeary tapped, evidently for strikes. 4:11
