Living a fantasy that so much many of us have had during a nostalgic vision of Office space or Brothers band, Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen (aka The Flash) is about to get Ron Livingston to be his father. (Is it weird that we want Peter from Office space be our father? It would be cookies for dinner every night!) Specifically, Variety grades that Livingston has just been chosen for the long development of Andy Muschietti. Flash movie, taking on the role of convict dad Actor Henry Allen Billy Crudup.
However, because nothing DC Films can do can run smoothly, this news makes come only What Zack Snyder’s Justice League reminded us that Crudup was part of the study original plans for the Flash character—given like him, you know, appears right at the end of the movie to sing happily (to his fellow inmates) about his son’s fantasy new crime lab job. It is not yet known why Crudup will not be part of Muschietti’s new film, although the film length The development time, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, probably didn’t help. (But hey, who knows: Given how Ray Fisher ended up ditching the potential role of Cyborg in this particular movie., the potential for drama in Justice the earth is always out there).
Livingston joins a cast that includes Miller, plus Kiersey Clemons, Sasha street, and Ben Affleck (Not to mention the appearance of Michael Keaton, reprising his role as the Batted Man himself). Livingston has been working primarily on television lately; has had a semi-regular concert in Search partyand starred in Audience / Amazon Prime’s Loudermilk for the past three years.
