Riverside County has confirmed that individuals 65 and older can begin receiving their coronavirus vaccine, the county’s website shows.
According to the county’s website, vaccines are available for employees working in Phase 1A – all levels, Phase 1B – Tier 1, and people 65 and older.
People 75 years and older are in Phase 1B.
- FOR Staff in Phase 1A & 1B – Tier 1, an appointment from the place of employment and Employee ID badge / letter is required or you will not be vaccinated
- Appointments and IDs are required for those 65 and older. You can call the Riverside County Office of Aging at 800-510-2020 or 2-1-1.
The clinics will provide a free vaccine, however, those who show up, must register before arrival and show proof of eligibility (badge, business identity, certificate from employer).
Medical insurance information will be requested. Those 65 and older who need assistance making an appointment can call the Riverside County Office of Aging at 800-510-2020 or 2-1-1.

A clinic was opened on Sunday 17 January at the Indio Fairgrounds. The place will be a walk-up clinic. You still need to register to get vaccinated.

There will be a drive-up clinic on Saturday in Lake Elsinore exclusively for those 65 years and older only.
Governor Gavin Newsome announced that the state immediately allows residents 65 and older to receive the rare coronavirus vaccine.
