The UFC Brooklyn main event only saw that former NFL star Greg Hardy was disqualified in his UFC debut for landing an illegal knee over Allen Crowder in the second round.
Crowder landed first to open the fight, but Hardy was right after him. Hardy supported his opponent in the cage, but Crowder could tie him up. Hardy slowed down his aggression and Crowder was able to hit a takedown. When Hardy almost made him stand up, he brought him back to the mat. Crowder gave the top position to Hardy when a guillotine jumped. Hardy was able to land some heavy punches before Crowder got to his feet.
The heavyweights exchanged leather in the first minute of the second round, with each man receiving some good punches. Crowder started telling trash to Hardy and moved behind the big haymakers. Hardy moved aggressively forward and Crowder fired, but Hardy lay down properly to avoid being put on his back. Then, Hardy threw a clearly illegal knee at the head of his downed opponent, threw another hit to the ground and was disqualified, as Crowder could not continue.
