Results of the Champions League: the son's goal gives the Spurs the advantage over Manchester City; Liverpool puts on target Porto

The Champions League quarterfinals began on Tuesday with a pair of first matches. Tottenham used a goal from Son Heung-min to beat Manchester City in London, while Liverpool eliminated Porto 2-0 to set foot in the semifinals. At the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, the Spurs appeared to be the strongest team at night, but lost superstar striker Harry Kane with an injury in the second half. However, the team counterattacked, with Son finishing ahead of Ederson with clbad in minute 78. Sergio Agüero del City also had a penalty penalized by Hugo Lloris.

Liverpool had no problems with Porto, as Roberto Firmino scored and prepared Naby Keita for another. The Reds only had three shots on goal, but they were efficient enough to give them a bit of respite before next week's trip to Oporto.
