Random: The possibility of Nintendo working with Kanye West was “politely declined,” Reggie says

Collaboration with musicians is not uncommon in the video game industry (we still tremble when we are reminded of choice Krrish Cross: Make My Video And Aerosmith-heavy Revolution x) And it looks like we had a similar team-up between Nintendo and the good ol ‘Yeezy.

Former US President Reggie Films-Eime’s former Nintendo has explained that a few years ago during the E3 show, Kanye West visited Nintendo’s booth and spent some time only and only in conversation with Shigeru Miyamoto. Following this meeting of minds, West later invited Reggie to a meeting at his fashion business office, also in attendance with his wife Kim Kardashian – keeping the former Nintendo president in a tight spot:

Part of it was talking about what he is doing. He was experimenting with a piece of video game content; He wanted feedback on it. He comes out and says, ‘I want to work with Nintendo.’ We had several different projects going on at Nintendo, the possibility of something to do with Kanye simply wasn’t there, and so I had to find a way to politely decline this opportunity to work with them. I told him, ‘Kanye, you don’t want to work with us because we are tough, we are tough. We all push for very good content. We want to work with you. And he looks at me and says, ‘Reggie, you are exactly the kind of fellow I want!’ It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh.’

Kanye has such a passion for the video game space, and is a producer.
