As you probably already know, yesterday marked the release of three new amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Perhaps the highlight was Rare’s bear and bird duo from the legendary Banjo-Kazooie Serie.
Many superfans are posting photos of this particular figure on social media, and well, Some individuals seem to be more interested in their base. For whatever reason, they are impressed by Microsoft’s copyright, and point out how “interesting” it is to see the name of the American tech giant on a Nintendo product.
Now Smash players are wondering what Steve’s base would look like. As the Twitter user explains TheKrazyStew, Mojang appears in the game’s character credits, while Banjo has just been tagged with Microsoft. So be prepared for similar reactions on social media when the Minecraft amiibo drops.
In case you were wondering, the other recently released amiibo, Terry Bogard – del Fatal fury and King of fighters series – has SNK Corporation at its base.
