BEIJING (Reuters) – Qualcomm Inc has signed $12 billion price of
potential offers with three Chinese cell handset makers on the
sidelines of a state go to to Beijing by U.S. President Donald
Trump who has been trying to fire up U.S.-China commerce.
Qualcomm signed three non-binding memorandum of understanding
(MOUs) to promote elements over three years to phonemakers Xiaomi,
OPPO and Vivo, the U.S. Department of State mentioned in an announcement
on Thursday.
Qualcomm, which earns greater than half of its revenues in China,
turned the takeover goal of rival chipmaker Broadcom Ltd
earlier this week. It can be going through a prolonged authorized battle with
Apple Inc over patent charges it fees.
