Putin critic posted picture from hospital after eating poison

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny posted a picture of himself sitting in the hospital on Tuesday, saying that he has been able to breathe himself after being suspected of his poison from a nerve agent last month.

Russia’s most prominent opposition man fell violently ill in a flight last month and was eventually taken to Berlin. Germany has stated that laboratory tests in three countries have independently determined that she was poisoned with Novichok nerve agent.

The Kremlin has called the allegations of Navalny’s toxicity “baseless”. Moscow has since requested more information on its case from Germany.

A fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Navalny has often been arrested and targeted by pro-Kremlin groups. He has also been barred from running continuously in local elections.
