PS5 Simulation is the perfect game for anyone who has not yet found the new console

PlayStation 5 is now available in many regions around the world, and many are jumping into the next generation Sony console. However, not everyone is lucky to have secured the launch console, and may be looking at that magic new console when they see Sackboy and Spider-Man: Miles Morales on their aging PS4s Play on

That’s why the PS5 Simulator is a new free game that arrives. The game, by developer Alex Grad, is a little fun to get a system and set it up before you enjoy playing the game upon opening it.

“Wait no more, your last PS5 experience is here,” the description on the game’s page reads. “Poor cable management, snacks on the floor and don’t try to smash your next-game console in this non-AAA-game!”

The game weighs 947MB, and has plenty of cable management to deal with. It’s pretty tongue-in-cheek, so it might make you feel a little better about not having a console to install yet. Assassin’s Creed Vallah and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are both great on the PS4, you know.

If the PS5 simulator is not enough for you, and you want a real console, check out GameSpot’s guide on where to buy a PS5. For more information on the system, see GameSpot’s PlayStation 5 review.
