A father serving a life sentence for beating his two-day-old child to loss of life was discovered lifeless in his U.Ok. jail cell Sunday and one other prisoner has been charged in his loss of life, The Yorkshire Evening Post reported.
A father who punched, shook, and squeezed his two-day outdated daughter to loss of life final July was discovered lifeless in his jail cell at HMP Leeds on Sunday, the report mentioned.
Liam Deane, 22, admitted to killing his two-day-old daughter, Luna, in July after the child wouldn’t cease crying. He was handed a life sentence final month and would serve a minimal 10 years.
Deane was watching Luna whereas her mom went to sleep at their residence in Wakefield, England. The child died in intensive care after struggling “catastrophic brain injuries.”
Deane had no prior convictions, the paper reported.
John Westland, 28, was charged with Deane’s homicide and stays held in custody. It is unclear why Westland was in jail. His listening to will happen Thursday, The Sun reported.
