After Christmas with the Queen, Meghan Markle will enjoy a vacation with her prince. After his three-day celebration with Prince Harry and his family in the Elizabeth Sandringham estate of Queen Elizabeth II a source says that the former actress, 36, will escape with her new fiance, 33.
"They plan to go on vacation together for more than a week," reveals a source in the new edition of Us Weekly . And while inside information keeps the couple's fate a secret, it's likely that they will not repeat the Norwegian getaway last January. Says the source: "Hope they come back tanned, fresh and ready to take on a very busy 2018."
Topping the agenda: preparing their May votes. With a selected site – in a November 28 statement, Harry's communications secretary announced that the queen granted him "permission" for the duo to use St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle – "wedding plans already they are moving at an incredible speed, "says a connoisseur.
Protestant practitioner Markle (her retired lighting director, Tom, is Presbyterian, while the mother of clinical therapist Doria Ragland is Protestant) is making plans to be baptized and confirmed in the Church of England. And she has already turned to her close friend, stylist Jessica Mulroney, to help her find a dress that suits her self-described "simplified" style. As he said to Glamor "Classic and simple is the name of the game, maybe with a modern twist."
Together, she and Harry are lining up their wedding party. Prince William's children and Duchess Kate Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, along with Mulroney's daughter, will have roles. And Harry has already asked William to serve as godfather. "Harry has several close friends," says one source, "but there's no way I can ask anyone other than William to accept the best job." Among his tasks: plan with the British call a bachelor party. Take note of the source, "Do not expect anything wild."
Still, the big day itself, scheduled to be televised, will have a bustling side, says a local assistant. Harry and Markle "are totally in charge" of the plans for the ceremony and reception (probably scheduled for Windsor Castle), says the assistant: "It will be fun and cheerful."
Like Markle's current mood. Says a source of the future duchess, "The last weeks have been the best of his life."
