Pregnant Christina Perry tells her baby on the need to have surgery after birth

Christina Perry is continuing to open up about the complications of her pregnancy as she prepares to welcome her second child.

The 34-year-old singer shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday that her baby will have to undergo surgery soon after birth on the way.

“There is much more that we have to be careful about. Baby can come at any moment, ”she said in a video, according to several outlets. “Basically, there is a complication with the baby’s intestines. The operation is scheduled to take place when the baby just arrives. We will spend some time in the hospital.”

Perry said, “We’re going to prepare [the NICU], But anything can happen. We are just going to be really hopeful. I think the biggest thing is that we hope that the child will stay in and be as big as possible before this big event. It’s a few more weeks now, so I’ll try to take it easy and hope for the best. “

On Friday, Perry thanked fans for the ongoing support in another post on her story. “Hi friends. Thank you for another day of thousands of messages, stories, prayers, texts, flowers, support and love,” Perry wrote a selfie, writing, “Me and the baby are fine.”

Earlier in the week, Perry revealed that she had been hospitalized and shared that she might be expecting her baby sooner.

“Hey guys, as we never do anything,” Perry wrote in her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. “Baby is an issue, so I’m going to come here until it’s time for the baby to come out. Which could be very soon. Which is too soon.”

“Please send a little love from your heart to beat me in the heart that we all make it through this,” she said. “I am grateful to the doctors and nurses and we will do whatever they suggest.”

The “A Thousand Years” singer first announced in July that she and husband Paul Costabile were expecting their second child together. The couple has already shared 2-year-old daughter Carmela Stanley.
