PlayStation launches a line of figurines & # 39; Totaku & # 39;

PlayStation will launch its own line of figurines based on characters and franchises familiar or exclusive to the console.

Manufactured by ThinkGeek (a GameStop company), the line is launched with seven figurines, each approximately 10 centimeters (four inches) tall. It's called Totaku Collection, and it comprises Bloodbone & # 39; s hunter, Crash Bandicoot, Parappa the Rapper, Kratos from God of War the Feisar FX350 race ship from Wipeout Sackboy of LittleBigPlanet and Heihachi of the Tekken series.

All the figurines cost $ 9.99.

Before going to think that PlayStation has copied Nintendo's amiibo, that does not seem to be the case. None of the descriptions of the figures describe any near field communication functionality or other interactivity. The figurines are fixed in their support and are not articulated, so they are only collectibles.

Even so, we have contacted a Sony representative to ask them what they have in mind for this line. The series will be released on March 23, 2018 and are only available through GameStop. A gallery of product photos is below.
