At least two people were killed on Wednesday after a plane crashed near Florida's Daytona Beach International Airport.
The aircraft crashed near the Daytona Flea Market and Farmers on Wednesday morning, confirmed the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. Witnesses told police they saw the wing of the Piper PA-28 fall before it crashed. The police did not immediately identify the victims until the closest relative is notified.
The media reported that it appeared that the plane had an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University logo, but it was not clear if it belonged to the school.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it was investigating the accident.
