An Enter Air flight bounced off the runway in Salzburg, Austria, as it was caught in crosswind. (Storyful)
A plane’s nightmare attempted landing was caught on video as it tried to touch down in Austria.
The Enter Air plane had to return to its origin of Frankfurt, in Germany, after it failed to land in Salzburg, Austria, bouncing off the tarmac when it became caught in crosswinds.
The winds were strong in the aftermath of Storm Herwart, which hit on October 29.
A gust of wind triggered the plane’s right wing to drop as it approached and the aircraft hit the runway before bouncing off and heading back into the sky.
The Aviation Herald reported the Boeing 737-800 was told it needed to head back to Frankfurt.
Storm Herwart, which killed five people, caused widespread damage across some European countries, including Poland and Germany, over the weekend.
