In the end, Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch will be lost more than a week with an ankle injury.
Coach Vance Joseph tells Dave Logan of Orange & Blue 760 that Lynch will miss a total of two – up to four weeks due to the injury. Deposed starter Trevor Siemian, who allegedly won the job throughout the season before the season starts, will return to work in the absence of Lynch.
Siemian started 14 games in 2016, throwing for 3,401 yards and averaging seven yards per attempt, with 18 touchdown pbades and 10 interceptions. This year, Siemian started seven games before giving way to Brock Osweiler, who then yielded to Lynch.
The bank was due to excessive turnovers. On Sunday, he threw an interception in 21 pbades after relieving Lynch.
The Broncos lost seven consecutive games for the first time since 1967. They play in Miami on Sunday, host the Jets the following Sunday, and then travel to Indianapolis for a week-long game against the Colts.
