First, I want to thank God for all that has blessed me, including the ability to fulfill my dream of playing basketball. This season has taught me a lot and I would not change the opportunity to play at UNC with a group of guys who have really become my brothers for anything. These last 10 months have been the highlight of my basketball career and I have grown a lot on and off the field. Thanks is not enough to show my gratitude to the best coaching staff. They pushed me and the whole team to be the best players we could be. I want to thank my brothers for having intervened between these lines with me every day. The growth we experienced in joining, not only as a team, but also as a true family, made this year unforgettable. I know for sure, I can count on all of them, no matter what … love everyone, boys! Thanks to the fans who supported and motivated us through the victories and losses. I have always dreamed of playing basketball in the NBA and having said that, I have decided to enter the NBA draft of 2019. This year, this school, this experience has prepared me for the next phase of my basketball trip. Thanks again! Carolina will always be my home! I will always be a Tar Heel! This is not a goodbye, but until next time. See Tar Heels! #FMF
Roy Williams called White a pleasure to train.
Nbadir Little of North Carolina, the number 16 prospect in the ESPN 100 ranking, has declared for the NBA draft.
"I loved every minute of training Coby," Williams said. "She got engaged to us before her first year, so even though she played a season like Tar Heel, we've known her family for a long time, and it's been an honor to have met them."
