But I don’t feel like there’s actually an awakening of consciousness in Hollywood. There’s an understanding that there will be backlash in the marketplace and to their bottom line if they don’t make these big announcements. They aren’t woke; they’re scared.”

Via his lawyer, Ratner has denied all of the accusations made towards him. He beforehand mentioned in an announcement that, “in light of the allegations being made, I am choosing to personally step away from all Warner Bros.-related activities.
