Notre Dame Relic in 2nd Poll AP Poll


It may be the only one at the top, but this weekend it was also alone in the Associated Press Top-5, the only team to watch action with No. 2 Notre Dame.

The top eight remained unchanged from last week, while the Indiana Hoziers 4-0 continued their surprising serial number 9 after Michigan State closed out 24-0. The Hosiers play Ohio State next.

Fellow Big Ten member Wisconsin (2–0) made it to the top 10 with 49–11, rebounding Michigan 1-3 in Ann Arbor.

Falling from No. 9 to 12 was Miami after a 25–24 win at Virginia Tech.

Notre Dame, Clemson and Miami remain three ACC representatives in the top 25. North Carolina (6-2), who toured Notre Dame for their next competition on November 27, had 101 points “not on first team out”. 26. Both Irish and Tar Heels have players from Notre Dame in the final exam of the first semester, next weekend. 16–20 November.

Alabama received 60 first place finishes, while Ohio State and Notre Dame each had a niece.
