No Man’s Sky finally gets multiplayer in July

The next big update of No Man's Sky will arrive in July, and it brings a much-anticipated feature of the game: online multiplayer mode. The developer Hello Games announced the release date of the number Man's Sky NEXT which is described as the biggest update so far, and you will also see No Man's Sky will debut for the last time on the Xbox One. (Currently available on both PlayStation 4 and PC). The update NEXT will arrive on all platforms on July 24.

However, the great news for the update is that full multiplayer support is finally coming, a function that was discussed before the game's release in 2016 but was never really implemented. No Man's Sky takes place in a vast universe generated by procedures that is the same for all players, but virtual explorers have not been able to cross.

" No Man's Sky can be mysterious and lonely, and I love it, it's very sci-fi … but playing with your friends is another kind of science fiction, more like Battlestar or Star Trek "out of the team" says the co-founder of the SeanMurray study "Esiveiveintensivecompetitive andexperienced in a way that we do not No Man's Sky ."

Murray says the studio has been testing the function for The last six months and it sounds pretty robust, that's how he describes it:

You can explore the universe with your friends or trip over random travelers, you can help your friends stay alive or attack others to survive. build from small shelters to complex colonies that encompbad planets, and everything is shared online for others to visit.Fight as a pirate or a wingman in epic space battles with friends and enemies. Hit with the exploration of weird aliens, creating race tracks or just scenic trails to share online.

NEXT is the fourth major expansion for No Man's Sky after last year Atlas Rises that added a very welcome approach to the game's narrative. It will be a free update for existing players when it becomes available in July.
