Nintendo unveils new amiibo



After today’s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, the new Amiibo trio was tied up with the release Monster Hunter: Rise. Monster Hunter: Rise One of the two Monster Hunter games announced for the Nintendo Switch during the presentation. Amiibo will include three creatures in the upcoming game: Palamute, Palico, and Magnamolo. Each of the three Ameos will unlock a special layered armor set in the game. Nintendo’s amiibo line debuted in 2014, and has grown significantly over the past six years. Most are based on characters owned by Nintendo, but some third-party games have also gained their tie-in lines. Notably, this is the second game in Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, with a line-up of tie-in amoebos for the first time Monster hunter stories. Notably, this line was not released in North America.
