“Succession” star Nicholas Braun apparently asked Kim Kardashian West out in a hilarious Instagram video on Monday.
The actor, who plays cousin Greg on the hit HBO series, said the news of Kardashian West’s divorce from Kanye West was “bothering me” but offered a possible solution for the beauty mogul.
“Where does he go from this moment?” Braun wondered. “Because she’s been through three marriages now, and it’s like, are you even willing to give a new guy a chance right now?”
“Would you like to meet a new person, a totally different guy?” he asked Kardashian West in the video.
Braun then went on to highlight the redeeming qualities of this hypothetical man, telling Kardashian West that he could “make you laugh a little or make you feel small, because he’s so tall. (The “Succession” star is known for her unconventional sense of humor, having previously told Insider’s Jacob Shamsian that she is 6 feet 7 inches tall.)
According to Braun, the hypothetical man could also make an Instagram video asking Kardashian West out, “because he doesn’t know anyone who knows her.”
“So she’s just making a video that could possibly penetrate her, not the right choice of word, but it comes into her sphere of … you know?” said the actor.
Ideally, Braun explained, Kardashian West would watch the video and say, “‘Hmm, this guy is weird, but maybe in a good way?'”
He ended the video by expressing his hope that Kardashian West wanted to meet this hypothetical man.
“So could something like this happen to him? That’s all I’m really wondering,” concluded Braun.
He captioned the nearly three-minute long video, “It’s about meeting new people,” and tagged Kardashian West.
Other celebrities spoke in support of Braun in the comment section of his video. Christopher Mintz-Plasse (of “Superbad” fame) wrote that Kardashian West “would be absolutely insane to pass up this opportunity.”
“Nick, you’re fucking bro,” Hilary Duff commented, while Lili Reinhart told Braun to give Kardashian West “a little time … she’ll be back.”
Representatives for Kardashian West did not immediately respond to Insider requests for comment.
News of Kardashian West and West’s divorce broke out on Friday, and a Kardashian representative confirmed the news to Insider, which was first reported by TMZ.
The couple tied the knot in May 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Italy and they have four children together: North, 7; Santo, 5; Chicago, 2; and Psalm, 1.
According to TMZ sources, the couple plan to seek a joint custody agreement for their four children. Kardashian West was the one who allegedly requested the arrangement.
Sources also told TMZ that the split is “amicable” and that Kardashian West and West are “committed to co-parenting” together.
