NFL Playoffs Tracker 2018: Chris Paul of the Rockets leaves for Game 6; Kevin Love & # 39; Pulls Up & # 39; for Game 7

Injuries can make or break the make-up of the NBA playoffs, and unfortunately we're seeing this postseason play out first hand. After a hamstring injury that shortened his heroic Game 5 on Thursday in Houston's victory over Golden State, Chris Paul was discarded for Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Warriors.

The Rockets, with a 3-2 record in the series, will seek to secure the West on the road against the reigning champions. But doing it without a future Hall of Famer will not be a small task; the Rockets are only 15-9 without him this season, but they were 61-12 with him in the lineup.

Former Finals MVP winner Andre Iguodala missed Games 4 and 5 due to knee pain, but could return for Game 6 on Saturday. It has been included in the report of injuries as questionable .

In the East, the Cavaliers may well be without Kevin Love for his Game 7 winner on Sunday night. He left Game 6 after facing Jayson Tatum, and did not return. Meanwhile, the Celtics have been without Shane Larkin due to a shoulder injury and are unlikely to return for the rest of the series.

Here is a look at all the notable injuries of each series:

No. 2 Boston Celtics vs. No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Celtics: Shane Larkin (shoulder) is unlikely to return for the series, according to trainer Brad Stevens. Gordon Hayward (ankle, leg), Kyrie Irving (knee) and Daniel Theis (knee) are out for the postseason.
  • Cavaliers: Kevin Love (head) is a " chip thrower " for Game 7 after he left Game 6 early after a head-to-head collision with Jayson Tatum.
