As a storm retreats from the northeast, a new storm is already hitting the west coast with hail in the San Francisco Bay area, snow in the mountains and gusty winds. Now the storm is moving eastward.

Warnings, warnings, and winter storm warnings are in place for more snow in the Midwest already severely hit.
The storm moves from California on Tuesday and moves to the Rocky Mountains, bringing damaging winds to the southwest and snow in the mountains.
On Wednesday morning, the storm system will move to the Midwest, bringing a strip of heavy, wet April snow from the Dakotas to southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.
Chicago and Milwaukee will see some snow fall on Wednesday night. the storm system moves further east. The heaviest snow accumulations will be north of Chicago.
On Thursday morning, the storm system moves to the northeast. It will bring snow to the north of Ohio, to the west of Pennsylvania, to the north of the state of New York and to New England. Hurricane-force winds and rainy and cold conditions are expected from New York City to Boston.
