Sony is not currently telling us a huge amount about the PlayStation 5, so leave it to the Code Junkies to pull out information from the platform holder. The new code uncovered on the web-based version of the PlayStation Store teases some tantalizing new features that we can expect to find at the launch of the next-gen console.
First and foremost, it seems that the wish-list will eventually be integrated into the console, as there is a line of code that says: “Your wish list is not available on this website. You can find it on PS5. “In addition, it looks like you’ll be able to create parties with up to 100 people, and share music playlists with Pulse. There is also a reference to something called ‘Takedown’, but we are not sure what it is yet.
Elsewhere, it looks like backwards compatible titles, which support the PS5’s Boost Mode feature, such as it will be marked, while there will be a warning for a percentage of PS4 games on next-gen consoles. Not playable Interestingly, there is also a one-page reference on the official PlayStation website that details fully backwards compatibility, but is currently offline.
