Although troublesome, Urban Meyer is always consistent.

In his first head coaching job since “retiring” from Ohio State after covering up and lying about the fact that he knew one of his most trusted assistants was beating up his wife, Urban Meyer has unveiled his coaching staff with the Jacksonville JaguarsAnd it includes a guy who has a history of saying really mean things to black people.

Former Iowa strength coach Chris Doyle will serve as director of athletic performance for the Jaguars.

Why was Doyle in the market for a new job, you ask?

Because he was kicked out of town at his last concert on accusations of what he said to black players for several decades.

In June, Doyle reached a separation agreement with the school where he had worked since 1999 as a strength and conditioning coach (for which he was making $ 800,000 a year, and walked away with almost ¾ of that in the split) after a large group of black players spoke how he mistreated them for years. .

“Statements have been made about my behavior that are not true”, Doyle wrote in a summer statement.. “I don’t pretend to be perfect. I made mistakes, learned lessons, and like all American citizens, I can do better. At no time have I crossed the line of unethical behavior or prejudice based on race. I don’t make racist comments and I don’t tolerate people who do.

Listen, I’m not calling Doyle a racist.

But …

When a white person who has been accused of being a racist says that he is not a racist, you can be sure that damning evidence is just around the corner. It’s Racism 101, “deny, deny, deny.” One of the accusations against Doyle was that he told the black players that “send them back to the ghettoIf they didn’t meet their standards.

Here’s a look at some of the other things the show’s black players shared about what happened behind closed doors:

Emmanuel Rugamba: Iowa WR 2016-2017

Cedric Boswell: Iowa DB 2016-2017

Terrance Pryor: Iowa LB 2008-2011

Akrum Wadley: Iowa RB 2014-2017

We hope Chris Doyle tries this with grown men in the NFL. Because if you do, there will be an ass squeal waiting for you.
