& # 39; Seeing Allred & # 39; will appear in the broadcast service in early 2018 after its world premiere at the next Sundance Film Festival.
Netflix will launch Seeing Allred a new documentary about feminist lawyer Gloria Allred, at her service in early 2018, after her world premiere at the United States Documentary Contest at the Film Festival of Sundance 2018, which announced its alignment on Wednesday.
Directed by Sophie Sartain and Roberta Grossman, the film traces the life of the country's most visible women's rights lawyer, who has faced President Donald Trump, Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein and has become a force within the # MeToo movement of victims talking about the abuse of powerful men. Marta Kauffman, co-creator of Friends and who also produces Netflix Grace & Frankie is a producer with Grossman, Sartain, Robbie Rowe Tollin and Hannah KS Canter.
In the light of the current wave of badual harbadment and badault allegations, the filmmakers hope to adjust the document until its release at Sundance. "The filmmakers notified us that they would continue filming to add to the documentary as all the accusations were being broken," said Sundance programming director Trevor Groth The Hollywood Reporter . "So, there's a real kind of timely quality for that movie."
