More than 200 organizations have been hacked by Russia as part of a cyber attack on SolarWinds, a third-party software contractor that has compromised several government agencies, Bloomberg News Reported.

Massachusetts-based cyber security firm Recorded Future identified 198 people who had been hacked through a malicious update, threat analyst Alan Lisa told news outlets.

Three people familiar with the investigation told Bloomberg that the hack compromised by attempting to transfer at least 200 victims to their computer networks or obtain user credits.
