NBA Playoffs: Betting odds, picks, schedules as schedulers in Western Conference Finals vs. Lakers

At a certain point, we need to disconnect between the Clippers team we were expecting and the Clippers team that we are actually getting. They are still the most talented team in the NBA, and should have stopped them through the first two rounds. Instead, he has lost two games to the injured Dallas and Denver teams that were not in his stratosphere during the regular season. They play as if they can flip the switch whenever they want, yet the task of flipping that switch seems overly laborious.

The Clipper is going to make it through the second round in all probability. But the Lakers, Celtics and Heat are less forgiving than the Mavericks and Nuggets. If they no longer find themselves, they may be the final celebration minutes of the postseason. Here are the best bets with that today.

Nuggets +8.5

The actual evidence that the clipper still does not exist is better than the Nuggets. After their game outside of the Game 1 blowout due to Denver’s weariness led to a 7 win over the Utah Jazz, the Clippers have led the series by only a double-digit cumulative total. They have never solved the Nikola Jokic matchup, with Doc Rivers continuing to use questionable lineups, and again, the Clippers just didn’t develop into the dominant force we expected. That team is still there from a talent perspective, but don’t expect the Nuggets to go quietly until they reveal themselves.

Now, with all that said, the Clippers should still be expected win This game, just not covered. If this game is close, remember that they still don’t have Qui Leonard and the Nuggets. He is tied with Jimmy Butler for the third-most clutch point in the postman (22), and has shot more than 55 percent of the clips in those situations. Jamal Murray is ahead of him in both counts, but largely thanks to the Utah series. He has not scored a single clutch point in this matchup yet. Always trust Hangman Kavi.

Under 214.5

Game 7 against Utah gave us a glimpse of what Denver might actually see against Locke in a closeout-game defense. He scored only 80 points in the win. The Clippers do not yet have their backs against the wall, but the Lakers have advanced to the Western Conference Finals. The Clippers are not messing around. They want to seal the deal and start preparing for the series that we have been waiting for all year.
