NBA Playoffs 2019: Watch Warriors vs. Rockets Game 5, live updates, TV channel, online streaming, odds, prediction

Things did not look so good for the Houston Rockets after losing the first two games against the Golden State Warriors. Starting a 2-0 series with the champions is not a place where any team wants to be.

James Harden and the Rockets, however, managed to record consecutive wins in Games 3 and 4, including a 112-108 victory in Game 4 on Monday. Harden continued playing at an extremely high level with 38 points on 13 of 29 shots and 10 rebounds in the victory. He also received a lot of help on offense as five Rockets finished in double figures, with Eric Gordon adding 20 points.

The Warriors return to Oracle to win the lead once more at home, while the Rockets hope to go up 3-2 at Golden State for the second consecutive season.

Game 5 stories

Rocket: Harden has been playing outside of himself throughout the series. The Star guard is averaging 35.8 points and shooting 35.4 percent from beyond the arc in all four games so far. The Warriors have not had an answer for Harden, whether he's camping on the perimeter or driving to the edge. With Harden scoring at least 38 points in Houston's two victories, that trend could certainly continue and give the Rockets the opportunity to steal a game on the road.

Warriors Golden State seemed to have a good command of the series before moving to Houston. However, Harden set fire to the Warriors in wins during Games 3 and 4. Even in the loss, Kevin Durant has been playing at an extremely high level during the series, since he averages 36.0 points and shoots 44.2 percent from over beyond the arch. Durant will look to continue showing his sensational shot hit and the Warriors will need their offensive output if they want to win at home.

Prediction of game 5, selection.

The Rockets looked dead in the water after the first two games of the series, but they have all the drive to Game 5. However, the Warriors have a history of playing extremely well at Oracle Arena, so they will come out with a victory. It takes the Rockets to cover, however, in a nearby one.
