NBA Playoff: Reggie Miller, Chris Webber previewed Western Conference Finals

Reggie Miller did not mimic the words on the fall of the Los Angeles Clippers.

After taking a 3–1 lead in the series, the Clippers had three chances to knockout the Denver Nuggets and advance to a date in the Western Conference Finals against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. But he took a double-digit lead in games 5, 6 and 7, one of the biggest breakdowns in franchise history.

“This curse is real,” Miller said. “The Clippers entire marketing plan was to tarnish the Los Angeles Lakers and their history. ‘There is a new sheriff in town, we are occupying LA!’ Their focus was Lebron, Eddie and the Lakers, and they were one game away from doing it. It was a total collapse.
