One of the great companies in the family history industry has developed a new technology that transforms still images into moving images.
Now people are using MyHeritage’s “Deep Nostalgia” photo animator feature to bring all kinds of historical photos to life.
MyHeritage featured Deep Nostalgia last week at RootsTech Connect, the world’s largest family history conference.
“Do you sometimes wonder how your ancestors moved, smiled and looked in real life? Now you can see your ancestors from past generations like never before! “MyHeritage posted in a blog on February 25.” This new addition to our photographic toolkit produces a realistic depiction of how a person from an old photo might have moved and looked if it had been captured on video. ”
The feature has helped some feel a deeper connection to their lost loved ones.
A person tweeted: “My mom died of cancer in 2017 … I never had happy videos of her. This is from a photo of her as a very smiling teenager. I’m not crying hysterically or anything. “
