Most Syracuse airport flights canceled due to winter storm

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The majority of flights departing and arriving at the Hanbad Syracuse International Airport were canceled until Sunday morning during a winter storm, according to the schedules of the flights of the airport.

Twelve of the 17 flights scheduled to arrive until 7 a.m. Sunday and 12 of the 18 flights scheduled to leave Syracuse until the same time have been canceled, according to the schedule.

Snow is expected to fall in downtown New York until Sunday and the snowfall could accumulate to almost 2 feet in some areas.
